“Trizzie” was developed in early 2007 at Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL. The word Trizzie is derived from “TRIZ” a Romanized acronym for Russian meaning “Theory of solving inventive problems” or “Theory of inventive problem solving”. It was developed by Soviet researcher Genrich Altshuller and his colleagues around 1946. It has been evolving ever since. “TRIZ” provides tools and methods for use in problem formulation, system analysis, failure analysis, and patterns of system evolution today. TRIZ is a methodology, tool set, knowledge base, and model-based technology for generating innovative ideas and solutions for problem solving.

In 2007 the “Trizzie” program began at Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL as a rural health care project in cooperation with rural health care providers. WIU students, Charles S. Stamper, project founder and Kenny K. Yu, co- founder saw a need in rural health to create a simplified cost effective marketing system and consultancy utilizing many areas of marketing, information management, and graphic communications to compete in an ever changing health care environment. The end resulted in a comprehensive model devoted to the continued growth of rural health care.

Trizzie is a comprehensive marketing consultancy specializing in rural healthcare advancement. The customized strategies utilize today’s latest information management marketing and graphic communications technology for a unique combination of managed market strategies for continued growth under one roof.
